2 doctors join Memorial cardiovascular staff

PAWTUCKET – Dr. Mark A. Creager and Dr. Marie Gerhard-Herman have joined Memorial Hospital’s cardiovascular division.

Creager, who earned his medical degree at Temple University, is the director of the Vascular Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He is also a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. His special interests include vascular medicine, atherosclerosis and thrombosis.

Gerhard-Herman served as chief medical resident at Boston City Hospital, having earned her medical degree at Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine. She is a practicing cardiologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and an associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School.

The two new appointments strengthen the ongoing partnership between Memorial Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in the delivery of cardiovascular care.
