40 Under Forty celebrate Rhode Island, each other in Newport

PROVIDENCE – On Thursday, July 25, Providence Business News held its 9th annual 40 Under Forty awards celebration at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport under skies that threatened but never delivered rain.
The capacity crowd of about 400 spilled out onto the Hall of Fame’s piazza, in addition to filling the USTA wing and balcony. Food stations were provided by Russell Morin Fine Catering, with wine supplied by Newport Vineyards and beer by Newport Storm. To see photographs from the event, click HERE.
The 40 Under Forty program identifies young business executives or entrepreneurs who have exhibited great career success but who also give back to the community in significant ways. To see the list of this year’s winners, click HERE. The members of the 40 Under Forty Class of 2013 were chosen from more than 100 applicants.
All the winners received, in addition to a recognition trophy from PBN, a one-hour treatment from Massage Envy as well as a congratulatory proclamation from Providence Mayor Angel Taveras.
The program’s partner sponsors were Bryant University, Chisholm Chisholm & Kilpatrick Ltd. and Cox Business. Host sponsor was the International Tennis Hall of Fame, and the media sponsor was AM790.
