Acentia announces contract with DOH

FALLS CHURCH, Va. – Acentia announced it has been awarded a five-year, $1.25 million contract from the R.I. Department of Health for a secure, cloud-based National Electronic Disease Surveillance System Base System for the department’s Division of Infectious Disease and Epidemiology.

Under the new agreement, Virginia-based Acentia will move the current database to a secure, cloud-based model, also providing infrastructure and application administration for all of its users for the life of the agreement.
