PROVIDENCE – A Patent, Trademark and Copyright Services Group has been added to the law firm of Adler Pollock & Sheehan PC.

The group will specialize in patent, trademark and copyright prosecution. It will expand the offerings of the firm’s existing intellectual property services, such as IP litigation and IP transactional services.

Adler Pollock & Sheehan said it is now the only full-service law firm in Rhode Island with a patent prosecution group.

The IP group will consist of the following attorneys, now joining the firm:

  • Daniel J. Holmander, who is joining the firm as counsel and chairman of the Patent, Trademark and Copyright Services Group. He most recently practiced patent and trademark law at Barlow, Josephs & Holmes Ltd. in Providence.
  • George N. Chaclas joins Adler Pollock & Sheehan as counsel. He is a registered patent attorney at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He most recently practiced law at Locke Lorde LLP in Providence.
  • Cheryl A. Clarkin joins Adler Pollock & Sheehan as counsel. She recently practiced law at Barlow, Josephs & Holmes Ltd. in Providence. Prior to that, she was with Wolf, Greenfield in Boston.
