SMITHFIELD – Alcor Scientific Inc., a manufacturer of diagnostic and medical devices, has appointed Kenneth Campanale as chief operating officer, the company announced Oct. 25.
In this new role, Campanale will manage operations, customer service, quality and new product development.
“As our company continues to expand in both the U.S. and international markets, our business development and international operations are at the center of our global growth strategy,” said Carlo Ruggeri, chairman and CEO for Alcor, in the release announcing Campanale’s appointment.
Before joining Alcor, Campanale worked at Iris International, CR Bard and Millipore supporting manufacturing, R&D, quality and business strategy, and brings more than 25 years of experience in the health care industry into his new role at Alcor.
Campanale is also an instructor at Northeastern University in Boston and at Endicott College in Beverly, Mass.
