Explore Newport through the windows of a historic train by taking a trip on the Old Colony and Newport Railway. During the company’s scenic Sunday tours, passengers travel along the Narragansett Bay and through Naval Station Newport, taking in sights of ships, rocky beaches and wildlife. The tour is approximately 80 minutes long and 10 miles round trip. First-class passengers will ride in wicker chairs in the parlor car, and all riders will keep cozy with warmth from pot belly stoves.
