American College of Healthcare Executives recognizes members at annual meeting

WARWICK – The American College of Healthcare Executives Rhode Island chapter recently held its annual meeting at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick. ACHE Western Division Chairman-Elect Edward H. Lamb, FACHE, delivered the keynote address.
Several members of ACHE-RI received awards, including Walter Dias, FACHE, Butler Hospital, who received the ACHE Service Award; Edward Schottland, FACHE, formerly of Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, who received the ACHE Distinguished Service Award; and Jamie DelVecchio, South County Hospital, who received the Regent’s Early Careerist Award.

The ACHE annual meeting, co-sponsored by the Hospital Association of Rhode Island, also included the chapter’s year in review, a look ahead at events and opportunities in 2016, an introduction of the 2016 board of directors and social networking among members.

The ACHE RI chapter’s mission is to advance health care leadership and management excellence; promote high ethical standards and conduct; promote the mission of the ACHE for its members; and meet its members’ professional, educational and leadership needs.
