AMICA MUTUAL INSURANCE AND FM GLOBAL once again have made it to the "Ward's 50" list of the top-performing property-casualty insurers.

LINCOLN – Amica Mutual Insurance Co. and FM Global have been named top-performing property-casualty insurance companies on “Ward’s 50” list.
The Ward Group Inc., a McLagan Aon Hewitt company, analyzes the financial performance of nearly 3,000 property-casualty insurance companies and nearly 800 life-health insurance companies in the U.S. each year to identify the top performers in each segment. Lincoln-based Amica Mutual Insurance has now made the list, dubbed “Ward’s 50,” 11 times, and its subsidiary Amica Life Insurance Co. has received the Ward’s 50 designation seven times in the life-health category. Robert A. DiMuccio, Amica chairman, president and CEO, said in a statement that he’s incredibly proud to have earned the recognition.
“This is a tribute to our team and the excellent work they do on a daily basis,” DiMuccio said.
Johnston-based FM Global also received the recognition. A company spokesman could not be immediately reached for comment.
Amica Mutual Insurance, founded in 1907, insures auto, home and marine property, while also offering umbrella insurance. Amica Life Insurance provides life coverage. Based in Lincoln, the company says it employs more than 3,400 people in 44 offices throughout the country.
