Amica Mutual Insurance Co., through the Amica Game Ball program, recently presented Children’s Hospital Boston with a $35,000 donation during a Boston Celtics game.

Now in its fourth year, the Amica Game Ball program is a partnership between Amica and Comcast SportsNet. For each Boston Celtics home game broadcast by Comcast SportsNet, Amica donates an official, autographed basketball and gift bag to a hospital patient. In addition, Amica donates money to the hospital in the patient’s name, totaling $35,000 each season.

“The Amica Game Ball program is a great way for us to show our support for two of New England’s favorite teams – the Boston Celtics and the staff of Children’s Hospital Boston,” said Robert DiMuccio, chairman, president and CEO of Amica Insurance. “We’re pleased to be able to support Children’s Hospital Boston in its mission to provide the best possible medical care for all children. And we’re happy to help spread the excitement of Boston Celtics basketball among the patients there.”
