Amica partners with Epsilon for email marketing

LINCOLN – Amica Mutual Insurance Co. last month signed a new multiyear agreement with Epsilon Data Management LLC, a Texas-based data company, to oversee email marketing, customer engagement and to grow and retain new customers.
Epsilon will oversee all aspects of Amica’s permission-based email marketing, deploying communications to more than 1 million customers and prospective customers through its own platform, according to a press release. The campaign is focused on customer acquisition and retention, building brand loyalty and cross-selling of insurance products.
“Epsilon is a next-generation, strategic partner, equipped to help us evolve our marketing and our business through their channel expertise, knowledge of our target market and deep understanding of the insurance industry,” said Craig Phelps, senior assistant vice president and marketing director at Amica, in a statement. “We’ve set the bar high for customer experience across all parts of our business, and are eager to expand our customer-centric approach to digital marketing efforts.”
Epsilon says it’s focused on improving Amica’s contact strategy, and will introduce real-time, transactional and personalized communications “to better engage customers,” according to the release.
