Why did you select your profession?
As an attorney, I am faced with new challenges every day. I enjoy advising clients and helping them to achieve their goals.
Where do you see yourself professionally in 10 years?
I hope to expand my knowledge and expertise in the area of corporate law, and I hope to remain actively involved in helping my community.
What’s the best career advice you’ve received?
Always answer your phone.
What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?
Take a year or two off after graduating college to work and travel.
What is your favorite Rhode Island escape or hobby?
I enjoy golfing with my husband and taking my dog for walks along the beach.
How do you keep a work-life balance?
My daughter just turned 1, so this year has been all about a work-life balance. I work long hours during the week so that my weekends are mostly free.
What one thing in your professional life would you like a do-over on?
I spent a semester in college abroad in the French Alps and now wish that I had maintained my proficiency in French. I guess there is still time to learn.
