Why did you select your profession?
I chose communications because it just looked fun! I was a business major and the idea of working with numbers all day wasn’t exciting. Making something look good or sound good to achieve those numbers was much more fun!
Where do you see yourself professionally in 10 years?
I would love to continue my journey in the communications field. The landscape changes daily, and I feel I still have a lot to accomplish.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever been given?
Go with your gut. I use this in both my personal and professional life.
What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?
Don’t sweat the small stuff. There is plenty of time for that later.
How do you keep a work-life balance?
Shutting down email helps, but honestly, once I walk in my house and see my children’s smiles, they remind me of what’s important. •
