Art Reception for West Bay Open Studios - Wednesday, September 11 (6:00-8:00 pm)
Twenty-three artists are featured in the West Bay Open Studios group show this month. Meet these talented regional artists, enjoy light refreshments, tour the exhibit, and buy original art. Latin music from Brazil, Cuba, and Venezuela will be performed by guitarist Julio Amaro and percussionist Tiffany Adams, who are also artists. The art reception is free and open to the public, and the free exhibit runs through October 2.
The show is a "taste of the tour" celebrating the 5th anniversary of the popular West Bay Open Studio Tours. A glass panel with "Creativity is Contagious: Pass it on." was created by the 23 artists to mark the anniversary and is a Silent Auction item in the main gallery. One lucky arts lover will be named high-bidder on Friday, October 18 — so stop by and place your bids soon! More info on the exhibit and three special events are on Facebook, www.warwickmuseum.org, or call during gallery hours.
