Atrion CEO accepted into IDG Contributor Network

WARWICK – Tim Hebert, CEO of Atrion Corp., has been accepted into the IDG Contributor Network, joining 100 fellow technology experts.
As a network member, Hebert will become a regular blogger for IDG Enterprise, an enterprise technology media company composed of CIO, Computerworld, CSO, DEMO, InfoWorld, ITworld and Network World.
The year-old IDG Contributor Network presents technology and security practitioners with an online blogging platform featuring industry happenings, best practices and technology news.
“There is no denying that the technology world is evolving at a breakneck pace – a movement that is both hindering and driving success for organizations,” Hebert said in a statement. “As CIOs and senior business leaders, we come face to face with this challenge every day. In fact, this trend has left a number of IT departments and organizations stuck in ‘run’ mode, unable to be a catalyst for change.”
His blog will be called “The Road to IT Relevance” and will explore a variety of issues, ranging from how to become a chief information officer to overcoming the information technology talent deficit and becoming more business-outcome focused.
“In my IDG Contributor Network blog, I look forward to tackling these challenges head on and uncovering the potential an organization can reach if it figures out how to appropriately fuse business with technology,” he said. “I am incredibly excited and honored to be a part of this esteemed community.”
