Autism Project to host Asperger training series

JOHNSTON – Due to overwhelming demand, The Autism Project is once again presenting its ASPire series. The five-week training series is for both parents and professionals working with individuals with Asperger Syndrome.

Individuals living with Asperger’s Syndrome face unique challenges, and often their distinctive strengths can mask their areas of need. The ASpire series is designed to teach parents and professionals about the unique characteristics and learning styles of individuals with Asperger’s Syndrome.

Classes will meet throughout the month of October on Wednesdays from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at The Autism Project located at 1516 Atwood Avenue, Johnston, RI 02919. The fee for the training series is $99 for professionals. There is no fee for parents and caregivers. Pre-registration is required.
