Avtech releases new environment monitor

Posted 10/31/12

WARREN – Avtech Software Inc. has released the Room Alert 3E, the newest model in their line of temperature and environment monitors.

According to the company, the Room Alert 3E, which weighs just two ounces, is the smallest, most light-weight and inexpensive model of Room Alert to date.

The system, which starts at $145, includes a built-in digital temperature sensor and a digital port that allows the connection of any digital sensor or a light tower and relay adapter, as well as a switch sensor channel that allows connection of any switch sensor or dry contact.

The 3E system can be enabled either by Power over Ethernet or with one of Avtech’s 5v 1A power adapters.

“When the combined features and functions are mapped against its $145 list price and small footprint,” Michael Sigourney, Avtech’s senior product specialist, said in a statement, “the Room Alert 3E offers the greatest overall value in environment monitoring and an immediate return on investment the very first time it alerts managers about a threatening disaster.”
