BIF10 sells out

PROVIDENCE – The Business Innovation Factory’s 10th annual Collaborative Innovation Summit has sold out.
There is a waiting list for the two-day event, which will be held Wednesday and Thursday at Trinity Repertory Company, featuring more than 30 storytellers, including Umberto Crenca, artistic director and founder of AS220; Guy Wollaert, senior vice president and chief technical and innovation officer, at Coca-Cola Company; and Liza Donnelly, cartoonist for The New Yorker Magazine.
BIF’s mission, according to its website, is to transform education, healthcare and government, “through human-centered business model innovation.” Approximately 400 people are expected to attend.

The BIF Summit was inspired by a similar event, the TED conferences, run by the nonprofit Sapling Foundation and held each year in Long Beach, Calif. The TED acronym stands for “technology, entertainment and design.”
