Brokers’ Service Marketing Group and several other insurance carriers raised $60,000 recently at its 12th annual charity golf tournament at the Rhode Island Country Club.
More than 120 financial-service professionals attended the all-day event benefiting the Amos House in Providence and Child & Family in Newport, that included a company presentation, industry speaker and awards, lunch, golf, sailing, shooting clays, dinner, a raffle and at a live auction.
“Each year we look forward to hosting this event and giving back to two wonderful and very deserving organizations here in our state,” commented David B. Lea Jr., managing partner and chairman of Brokers’ Service Marketing Group. “We were thrilled to be able to send $30,000 to each of these two great Rhode Island charities.”
The other participating insurance carriers included: American General, AXA-Equitable, Genworth, ING, John Hancock, Lincoln Benefit Life, Lincoln Financial, Metropolitan, Mutual of Omaha, Protective, Principal, Prudential and Transamerica. •
