WARWICK – Balise Auto Group is planning a two-year, multimillion dollar expansion of its local auto dealership that could create up to 200 jobs, the company announced late Wednesday.

Pending municipal approval, the $7 million to $8 million construction project will begin in early July and could create as many as 200 construction jobs over the course of its two-year, dual-phase build.

“Balise finds Warwick business-friendly and continues to hope to grow here,” Balise representative K. Joseph Shekarchi told Providence Business News. “Balise is committed to the Warwick market and Rhode Island market in particular.”

When finished, the facility will house a Chevrolet dealership and Nissan dealership, according to the company.
