Bank Investment Consultant names 3 regional financial consultants Top 100 Advisers

PROVIDENCE – Bank Investment Consultant, a wealth management and investments publication, has named three regional financial consultants to its Top 100 Advisers list.
Josh Giuliano and Gabriel DeFeo of Citizens Bank ranked No. 39 and No. 91, respectively. Matthew O’Connor of Webster Bank ranked No. 45.
The annual ranking is based on a number of variables, including assets under management, production, percentage growth and more.
Giuliano, based in Cranston, reported assets under management totaling $150 million in 2016 compared with $135 million in 2015. His production grew $200,000 to total $1.2 million in that period. O’Connor of New Bedford reported 2016 assets under management totaling $88 million compared with $68 million in 2015. His 2016 production grew to $825,000 compared with $737,000 last year. DeFeo of Pawtucket reported assets under management totaling $110 million for 2016 compared with $106 million in 2015. His production this year grew from $1 million to $1.2 million.
Two more Citizens financial advisers, Chris Suraci and Darrell Smith, also made the list and are based in other markets.

Citizens Investment Services has grown its financial consultants by 60 people in the last year, Drago added.
Citizens, a subsidiary of Providence-based Citizens Financial Group Inc., has assets totaling $147 billion. Webster Bank, a subsidiary of Webster Financial Corp. of Waterbury, Conn., has assets totaling $25.6 billion.
