NORTH SMITHFIELD – Banneker Industries, an integrated logistics service provider, is a “Friend of the Heart” sponsor for the today’s annual Feb. 14 Go Red for Women luncheon.
A major fundraising event for the American Heart Association, the luncheon features a heart-healthy menu, educational workshops, health screenings, and a keynote speaker.
“Banneker Industries values the work of the Southern New England Chapter of the American Heart Association and eagerly supports any effort to help women reduce the threat of heart disease,” said Cheryl W. Snead, president and CEO of Banneker Industries and a member of the SNE AHA planning committee. “As a company, we have supported the AHA since 2006 and not just for their outreach efforts for women, but for everyone.”
Banneker also held a blood drive on February 6 at its global headquarters in Rhode Island.
