Barbara E. Wolfe has been named dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Rhode Island. She previously served as associate dean for research and professor at the Cornell School of Nursing at Boston College, and has also held faculty positions in psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. She holds a BS in nursing from Syracuse University, a master’s degree in psychiatric mental health nursing from Yale University and a doctorate in nursing from Boston College.
