PROVIDENCE – Batchbook, a customer relationship manager created by Providence-based startup Batchblue, announced on Feb. 24 a “major revamp” in its social media integration.
The company has revamped its Twitter and LinkedIn integration and added full Facebook support.
Now, you can follow, retweet, favorite or reply on Twitter through Batchbook and save individual tweets as “communications” or “to-dos.” There is also a new Twitter import option to download your microblog contacts.
The new LinkedIn integration will display the last status, work history, biography, specialties and recommenders.
For Facebook – keeping in mind the social network’s same privacy restrictions – you can view the last five Facebook wall posts and comment back from Batchbook, as well as see the contact’s “likes.” Facebook statuses are not actionable in Batchbook, however, due to privacy concerns, the company said.
On Feb. 22, Batchbook also announced it has refreshed its MailChimp integration and the CRM now supports two-way MailChimp-Batchbook syncing. From within Batchbook you can now view AIM information to see opens, clicks, etc., on the contact detail page of each linked contact; a new dashboard widget in Batchbook shows recent campaign statistics, it said.
