Belichick Foundation donates $12K to Providence After School Alliance

FOXBORO, Mass. – The Belichick Foundation, led by New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, has donated $12,000 to the Providence After School Alliance.
The funding will be put toward a new lacrosse program to be led by Moses Brown School student instructors. The program will be offered this fall for Providence middle school youth enrolled in PASA’s AfterZone program.
The AfterZone program gives middle school students year-round access to a variety of hands-on, after-school learning and enrichment opportunities provided by more than 70 community-based organizations, helping motivate students to succeed and develop new interests.
Besides football, Belichick has an interest in lacrosse and youth development programs.
Moses Brown School senior lacrosse players will coach AfterZone students, ages 11-14, in the basic skills required for playing lacrosse, equipment maintenance, and strategies and team-building exercises needed to be successful in the sport.
