PROVIDENCE – Startup accelerator Betaspring is currently accepting applications for its spring 2013 session.
Betaspring provides a 12-week, mentorship-driven program along with work space, seed capital, legal counsel, and access to investors and industry experts.
For the spring 2013 session, which kicks off on Feb. 11, the accelerator is seeking high-growth, technology-driven startups and physical product companies. The accelerator accepts approximately 7 percent of companies that apply to the program.
Early applications are due by Nov. 20, and the final application deadline is Dec 5. Companies that apply early are eligible to attend a private event for prospective applicants at the accelerator’s Chestnut Street headquarters. The on-site, half-day visit to Betaspring includes an in-person interview, face time with the Betspring team, presentations from special guests and the opportunity to talk with Betspring alumni.
Since its inception in 2009, Betaspring has helped launch 57 companies. The alumni have raised more than $20 million in follow-on funding, according to a release.
