Bird lovers and backyard enthusiasts will have two chances to join the Audubon Society of Rhode Island for a class on bird-feeding. During Bird Feeding 101, participants will learn about types of feeders, feeder placement and seed. The class will also cover tips and tricks to attract the critters you want and deter the ones you don’t, and offer a review of factors that draw birds to backyards, such as water and landscape plantings. A class will be held Thursday evening in Smithfield and Sunday morning in Bristol.
