RED CARPET EVENT & SHOWCASE

PROVIDENCE, RI - Vincent P. Tranfaglia, entertainment executive, announces the launch of a new venture in Southern New England: Blind Faith Pictures, LLC. Blind Faith Pictures is a production company and movie studio that specializes in procuring funding and distribution for independent filmmakers as well as organizing large production projects.

As the owner and Executive Producer for Blind Faith Pictures, LLC, Tranfaglia has planned a huge, yet green-friendly, celebrity supported Hollywood-style Red Carpet and Showcase Event to announce the company's mission to spotlight the talent of local filmmakers and to benefit several charities. "We really want to kick off an explosion of business activity, bringing people and businesses together to stimulate the local economy and create jobs," says Tranfaglia.

The event will take place on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Twin River Casino in Lincoln, RI. Blind Faith Pictures promotes environmentally friendly ideas and green consciousness. Event organizer Tony King plans to use "…a green carpet instead of a red one to signify Blind Faith's dedication to supporting green causes."

The festivities will include a presentation by Blind Faith Pictures to reveal their plan to stimulate the economy by creating jobs through the art and entertainment industry. Local filmmakers Mark Fogarty of Exile Movies, Todd LeComte of TSL Productions, and Roark Loedy of Rhode Block Productions will showcase their film line-ups for 2009 & 2010.

VIPs include Sandy Hackett, son of famed comedian Buddy Hackett as host, Rami Jaffee, the keyboardist from the Foo Fighters, Fall Out Boy, and Pearl Jam, Sports Illustrated and Reebok model and TV host Cristina Nardozzi, former host of TRL and Miss USA 2003, Susie Castillo, as well as other prominent actors, musicians, models, politicians and philanthropists. All will come together to help celebrate this launch to revitalize the film industry in the Northeast.

This Red “Green” Carpet Event is invitation only. This is a black-tie optional event. Some of the proceeds of the evening will be donated to local charities such as the House of Compassion in Cumberland, Rhode Island.
