Bliss joins Providence Center leadership team

PROVIDENCE – The Providence Center, a community-based behavioral health organization supporting more than 12,000 adults and children with mental health and substance-use disorders, named Garrett Bliss as the director of government relations.
“We are thrilled to add Garry Bliss to our senior leadership team at TPC,” said Dale Klatzker, president and CEO of The Providence Center. “His experience in Rhode Island will be critically important as we continue to build a health system that meets the needs of Rhode Islanders seeking behavioral health treatment.”
In his new role, Bliss will be responsible for managing The Providence Center’s relationships with local, state and federal policymakers, promoting strategies to help the center achieve its mission of providing high-quality behavioral health and substance-abuse services and supports to all who need them. •
