BofA, QDC hosting breakfast to discuss advantages of trade

NORTH KINGSTOWN – Bank of America Merrill Lynch and the Quonset Development Corp. are hosting a breakfast presentation focused on how businesses can grow through import and export commerce.
The event begins at 8 a.m. Wednesday at the Quonset Development Corp. annex building at 95 Cripe St. Leading the event is Kevin Tracy, senior vice president and market executive at Bank of America, and Steven King, director of Quonset Development Corp.
Topics of discussions are slated to include: utilizing the Port of Davisville, tax implication for import and export trade, financing trade, minimizing risk and leveraging the supply chain in Rhode Island. There will also be a segment dedicated to insuring cargo, risk of loss and tax consequences.
