WOONSOCKET – Bouckaert Industrial Textiles, a roll good manufacturer of nonwoven textiles, has purchased a new manufacturing line that will allow it to expand its production capacity this year, and will add 15 new specialized jobs.

The air-lay line, valued at more than $3 million, will allow the company to manufacture 8 to 10 million pounds of material annually, according to a news release. It will be delivered starting this month and is expected to be operating by April, according to the company, which is part of The Brickle Group.

The line will primarily be used for material in the thermal and acoustical insulation markets, as well as specialty filtration and conveyor belting.

Bouckaert will place the new 11.2-foot wide, 18-foot high line in a newly leased facility in a Woonsocket warehouse at 1 Privilege St. It has signed a lease on 30,000 square feet for this purpose, Alex d’Anjou, the company’s manager of business development, said.
