Bridge collects 7,451 pounds of e-waste

EAST GREENWICH – In its latest electronics recycling drive, Bridge Technical Solutions collected 3.75 tons of electronic waste, nearly double the amount it collected at a similar event last fall, the company announced on May 31.

By the end of the April 14 drive, Bridge had collected 7,451 pounds of televisions, computers, monitors and other electronic waste.

“It was encouraging to see so many faces, both familiar and new, turn out for our event. We love bringing together our community for a cause that Bridge continues to support,” Joe Devine, partner at Bridge, said in prepared remarks,

In addition to all of the waste, which will be properly recycled by Office Recycling Solutions, Bridge collected $986 in donations and added an extra $1000 to donate $1,986 to the First Lutheran Church of East Greenwich.
