Bristol County Savings gives $25K to Attleboro

TAUNTON – Bristol County Savings Bank recently presented $25,000 to the city of Attleboro for its 100th Anniversary celebration activities.
The bank and its majority-owned insurance partner, FBinsure, sponsored the city’s anniversary festivities in and around Capron Park on Sept. 6. The celebration included a parade, a citywide community photo, the cutting of the 100th birthday cake, musical acts, children’s activities and a fireworks display.
“As Attleboro and the surrounding area has played such a vital role in the success of the bank, we wanted to do our part to help celebrate this special milestone in the city’s history,” said Patrick J. Murray, Jr., the bank’s president and CEO.
Founded in 1846 and based in Taunton, the bank provides commercial lending, personal and business banking, and mortgage services. The bank also offers property and casualty insurance options for its customers through its majority-owned insurance partner, FBinsure. The bank has $1.5 billion in assets and more than 400 employees in southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
