Bristol County will fund concert’s fireworks.

PAWTUCKET – Through its charitable arm, the Bristol County Savings Bank announces it has awarded a grant of $5,000 to the Pawtucket Arts Festival. These funds will support the fireworks which will follow a special “Pops in the Park” performance by the Rhode Island Philharmonic featuring Ronnie Dee & The Satellites at Slater Memorial Park, 5:30 p.m. Saturday evening, Sept. 15 (Rain date is Sunday, Sept. 16).

Bristol County Savings Bank has always been an active supporter in the communities it serves. The establishment of the Bristol County Savings Charitable Foundation – Pawtucket Advisory Board was announced at the grand opening of the Bank’s Pawtucket office in 2001 in an effort to demonstrate the Bank’s commitment to its new market.
