Brown lectures on health care leadership begin

PROVIDENCE – A Brown University lecture series on health care leadership kicked off Oct. 10 with a talk by Chas Roades, a health care policy expert at The Advisory Board Company in Washington, D.C.

The series is being launched in conjunction with Brown’s new Executive Master of Healthcare Leadership program.

Dr. Thomas Trikalinos, director of the Brown Center for Evidence-Based Medicine, will talk on Oct. 25 at the Alpert Medical School Building. His subject will be: “Do This, Not That: Saving Money by Following Medical Evidence.”

Lt. Gov. Elizabeth H. Roberts will give a talk on Nov. 27 on the direction of health care reform, 2012-2016. •
