Brown professor named to Care New England board

PROVIDENCE – Diane Lipscombe, a professor in the Department of Neuroscience at Brown University, has been appointed to the board of directors at Care New England.
Lipscombe has served on the Brown faculty since 1990, where she teaches Advanced Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience. She served as the director of the Neuroscience Graduate program from 2005 to 2011.
Lipscombe is the principal investigator of a major institutional pre-doctoral training grant from the National Institutes of Health. She received the Harriet Sheridan Award for Distinguished Teaching in 2009 and the Faculty Mentorship Award from the graduate school in 2010.
