COVENTRY – Pearson Cronin & Jacobson insurance agency in Coventry is now Bruen Deldin DiDio Associates Inc., reflecting the name of the company that acquired it in 2010.
The Coventry-based insurance agency last week commemorated the name changeover with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new offices (across the street from the old ones) at 2435 Nooseneck Hill Road, Coventry.
Bruen Deldin DiDio Associates say there will be no change in services, other than customers gaining access to more choices in terms of coverage.
“Our two businesses share a mutual commitment to our home state of Rhode Island,” said David M. Bruen, agency president. “We look forward to serving our new clients and helping them save money whenever possible.”
The main offices of Bruen Deldin DiDio Associates are in New York, but the insurance agency also serves Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Florida. The Coventry office is a seven-member team, and Bruen told Providence Business News it is growing.
“As we continue to grow, our commitment to the communities where we do business remains a constant,” Bruen said. “Rhode Island families have been with us for generations, and [we] are here to help the people living and working in the Kent County area.”
Bruen Deldin DiDio Associates acquired Stephen Cronin & Jacobson in 2010, but hadn’t rebranded until now. Stephen Cronin & Jacobson, a 160-year-old independent agency, was owned by Stephen Cronin and Bruce Jacobson before the acquisition. Bruen, Jeffrey Deldin, Scott Hainey and Joseph Mango III are principals of the new agency, according to a press release.
The new agency will provide services including business insurance, bonding services for construction projects, personal insurance for the home or car, health and life insurance for employees and beyond.
“We are eager to get to know each and every person we serve,” Bruen said.
