Bryant has cert. program in business analytics

SMITHFIELD – Bryant University is offering a new graduate-certificate program in business analytics.
The certificate will be offered through Bryant’s Graduate School of Business starting in January. The graduate-level analytics courses will be integrated into Bryant’s Master of Business Administration Program as a new specialization in business analytics.
Analytics, also known as “big data,” allow organizations to collect and process massive amounts of data in order to extract usable knowledge. The field is creating new career options driven by advances in technology systems.
Bryant’s certificate is a four-course part-time program developed to provide understanding in key areas of applied analytics including: big data, data warehousing, data mining techniques, predictive analytics, and visualization. The certificate program is supported by SAS, a leading analytics and business intelligence software company. •
