Byrne doles out Excellence in Construction Awards

EAST PROVIDENCE – Byrne Bonding & Insurance, a division of Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Brokerage Inc., has recognized outstanding contractors with its Excellence in Construction Awards.

Winners of the awards are J.J. Cardosi of East Providence; Furey Roofing & Construction Co. Inc. of Providence; Reilly Electrical Contractors, Inc. of South Easton, Mass.; and Notch Mechanical Constructors of Chicopee, Mass.

“Our award winners are being recognized for their dedication to quality, safety and contract commitment…there is more to successful construction than just bottom line profit,” said David Byrne III, vice president and bond manager of the company’s bonding division.

The awards were presented last month at the annual banquet of the Rhode Island chapter of Associated Builders & Contractors in Providence.
