C12 Group event to benefit Safe Families

WEST WARWICK – The C12 Group of Southern New England has announced that a portion of all 2013 Chick-fil-A Leadercast ticket sales will be donated to Safe Families for Children, a national organization that provides safe, loving homes for children of families in crisis that has two locations in Rhode Island.
“The ultimate goal of leadership should be to serve others, to give back to society and to make this world a better place,” said Rick Ferris, president and managing chair of C12 Group Southern New England, in a statement. “We want to make it possible for Leadercast attendees at our location to do this while sharpening their leadership skills. It’s a win-win.”
Chick-fil-A Leadercast is being held Friday at Christian Hill Community Church. The event is a one-day leader development event broadcast live from Atlanta to hundreds of sites throughout the nation.
Last year, more than 100,000 leaders from countries attended the event.
