The Center for Women and Enterprise will present a how-to-workshop on choosing a legal designation for businesses from noon to 1 p.m. at its Providence office, 132 George M. Cohan Blvd., 2nd floor, Providence.

Participants will learn the advantages and disadvantages of various business structures, including sole proprietorship, limited liability company, corporate and nonprofit. Legal advisers will be on hand to answer questions and explain businesses in a legal sense.
