The Ocean State Clean Cities Coalition and the University of Rhode Island will hold a stakeholder meeting from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at Arpin Van Lines, 99 James P. Murphy Industrial Highway, West Warwick.

During the meeting, Jeff Flath, president of eNow, will discuss new technology developed to reduce the need for trucks to idle that also improves fuel efficiency by up to 55 percent. Marion Gold, commissioner of the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources, will conclude the meeting with a discussion of the state’s role in assisting in business development in the energy sector.
