CVS Mobile app adds photo feature

WOONSOCKET – CVS/pharmacy has added a new photo feature to its popular CVS Mobile app. The new feature allows customers to easily print photos directly from their smartphone cameras or CVSphoto.com account.
The photos are available for same day pickup with no additional cost at any local CVS/pharmacy location.
According to the CVS release, nearly 30 percent of photos are taken on smartphones. The new feature will “meet the increasing demand from consumers who want to preserve and share images they have stored on their smartphone devices.”
“In recent months we’ve significantly expanded our mobile capabilities through our new, enhanced apps and upgraded technologies, as well as the re-launched CVS.com website which adds a new level of personalization for each of our customers,” Rob Price, senior vice president of marketing and chief marketing officer for CVS/pharmacy said in prepared remarks.
“We believe our commitment to innovation within the mobile space and this latest offering will inspire customers to capture more memories and help people preserve them from wherever they are and at any time,” added Price.
The CVS mobile app is free on the iPhone App Store or through Android’s Google Play market.
