Campaign seeking nonprofit applicants

The Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts Combined Federal Campaign will be accepting applications from nonprofits to participate in the 2015 annual solicitation of the Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts federal workforce.
The Combined Federal Campaign is the only authorized workplace giving campaign in the federal sector. In 2014, federal employees in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts raised more than $900,000 for local, national and international CFC-participating charities.
All not-for-profit, local federations and agencies are eligible to apply. Application eligibility requirements are reviewed by local federal employee volunteers. General requirements are that agencies and federations must be recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as tax exempt under 26 USC 501(c)(3) and receive donations that are tax-deductible under 26 USC 170.
Applications with instructions can be obtained from the “Federations/Charities” Page of the CFC website at www.riandsemacfc.org.
The CFC Office must receive applications no later than 3 p.m. on March 25.
