Cape Air celebrates 25th anniversary with $25 flights between Block Island, T.F. Green

BLOCK ISLAND – Cape Air is celebrating its 25th anniversary as a commercial airline by offering an end-of-season special $25 each-way fare between Block Island and T.F. Green.
“We wanted to not only celebrate our 25th anniversary, but also celebrate our first season serving Block Island. This is a way to say thank you to the community for their continued support and for the warm welcome we received this summer,” Linda Markham, President of Cape Air president, said in a statement.

Cape Air, an independent regional airline, annually flies more than 735,000 passengers to destinations around the world, including New England, New York, the Caribbean, the Midwest and Micronesia.
With a fleet of 75 Cessna 402s, four Britten-Norman Islanders and two ATR-42s, the employee-owned company based in Hyannis, Mass., operates up to 550 flights per day.
Cape Air also operates flights under the Nantucket Airlines brand. Cape Air has code share and interline agreements with carriers such as United Airlines, American Airlines and JetBlue. In addition, Cape Air has ticket and baggage agreements with most major airlines.
