Care-policy conference scheduled for Sept. 28

PROVIDENCE – LeadingAge RI will hold its 2012 long-term care policy conference, “A Time for Transformation Change,” on Sept. 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Airport Radisson at 2081 Post Rd. in Warwick.
The conference will focus on issues facing long-term-care providers, including state and federal budget, the implications of health reform, new payment and service delivery models, and population aging.
Speakers include Dr. G. Alan Kurose, president and CEO, Coastal Medical; Kathleen Otte, regional administrator, U.S. Administration for Commuity Living; Dr. Cheryl Phillips, senior vice president of Advocacy for Leading Age and Nancy Rockett Eldridge, executive director, Cathedral Square Corp. •
