Carlos Fuentes has been named vice president and chief actuary of Delta Dental of Rhode Island. In this role, Fuentes will oversee the actuarial, underwriting and statistical/ analytical departments of the company. He has nearly 20 years experience in the industry. Fuentes is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. •
