Carneiro appointed new residential lending manager at People’s Credit Union

MIDDLETOWN – People’s Credit Union appointed Steven Carneiro to business and residential lending manager recently.

The West Warwick resident, with more than two decades of experience in financial services, will be responsible for soliciting, developing and expanding member business relationships, according to a press release.

Carneiro most recently served as vice president, senior small-business banker for Bank of America.

“We are thrilled to have Steve join the team. His financial service experience, along with his in-depth knowledge of both commercial and residential lending will be a great asset to our members and our business members,” said Lyn Dawley, vice president of lending, in prepared remarks.

People’s is headquartered in Middletown, and is Rhode Island’s third-largest credit union, with assets totaling about $450.6 million, according to PBN research.
