Carousel Industries named Skype for Business launch partner

EXETER – Carousel Industries, a technology solutions management and integration firm, said it has completed requirements to support the new Skype for Business services in Office 365.
As a result, the company said it will be able to give customers new meeting and voice features.
“Carousel is proud to play an integral role in the roll-out of the new Skype for Business services in Office 365 and has already begun implementing planning and training sessions among our entire customer base,” Ed Wadbrook, vice president, applications and collaborative solutions, Carousel Industries, said in a statement.

According to Carousel, Skype for Business is transforming the way people communicate by “extending communications beyond the walls of businesses to connect customers and partners – anytime, anywhere.”
The platform offers a cloud business phone system and a complete meetings solution, including audio, video, content sharing and messaging service. The company said it is intended to increase productivity and encourage collaboration among its users, and can be accessed from wherever there is Internet access.

In August, Carousel said it migrated more than 1,100 of its own employees to Skype for Business, creating a single platform, which raised productivity and lowered complexity and expenses.
