Carousel Industries recognized by Microsoft

EXETER – Microsoft has recognized technology-solutions consultant Carousel Industries with the Microsoft Communication’s Gold Competency, a status held by a “relatively small number” of Microsoft partners around the world, according to the company.

Carousel was recognized for “demonstrating deep subject matter expertise in Microsoft communications and collaboration solutions and a commitment to investment in a Microsoft communications practice.”

In order to earn gold competency, Microsoft partners are required to complete a set of “rigorous examinations,” which are designed to prove their best-in-class technical expertise, as well as submit customer references and attain the highest customer satisfaction scores from customers who participate in satisfaction surveys.

To meet staffing requirements related to gold competency, Carousel added new technical and sales staff positions to expand its roster of Microsoft communications experts.

Carousel accelerated quickly on Microsoft’s competency path, according to the company, which said it met gold standard requirements in record time: just 90 days after receiving silver status.

“This recognition by Microsoft is an important milestone in our unified communications and collaboration practice,” Ed Wadbrook, vice president of applications/collaboration solutions for Carousel Industries, said in a statement. “Our Microsoft communications gold competency reflects not only our vast capabilities in this this area, but also demonstrates our unrelenting commitment to help customers integrate Microsoft communications solutions into their businesses.”
