PROVIDENCE – Catalyst Inc. has completed its acquisition of Assonet, Mass.-based MediaConcepts, a marketing communications agency specializing in biopharmaceuticals, food and beverage and technology.
Catalyst – a B2B marketing communications firm founded in 1991 – works with mid-market medical device, industrial and advanced technology companies.
“We are thrilled to have MediaConcepts join the Catalyst family,” Brian Odell, president of Catalyst, said in prepared remarks.
“Not only are we adding several new team members, but an expanded roster of clients within our categories of focus,” added Odell. “Together, we can offer a wider spectrum of services and additional resources to help our clients achieve their business objectives.”
Chris Wallace, former owner of MediaConcepts, said the sale “made sense from a lot of different perspectives.” Wallace added that “both firms have a long history of providing world-class work for global B2B clients. And both firms have maintained long-term client relationships far beyond the industry average.”
The newly combined firm will be located at Catalyst’s current offices at 275 Promenade St. in Providence.
